Non-lucrative residence permit
Description
It is an authorization requested by foreign nationals and their families from their country of origin that authorizes them to reside in Spain without carrying out work or professional activities.
Requirements
- Not being a citizen of a European Union State, from the European Economic Area or Switzerland, or a family member of citizens of these countries to whom the Union citizen regime applies.
- Not to be in an irregular situation in Spanish territory.
- Lack of criminal record in Spain and in the countries where he has resided for the last five years, for crimes existing in the Spanish legal system.
- Not to be listed as rejectable in the territorial space of countries with which Spain has signed an agreement in this regard.
- Not to pose a threat to public order, safety or public health.
- To have the financial means necessary to cover living and accommodation expenses and, where applicable, those of their family, during the period of time for which they wish to reside in Spain, and without the need to carry out any work or professional activity, in accordance with the following amounts:
- For their support, monthly, the 400 % of the IPREM.
- For the support of each of their family members, monthly, the 100% of the IPREM.
- Having a public or private health insurance arranged with an insurance company authorized to operate in Spain.
- Not to suffer from any of the diseases that can have serious public health repercussions in accordance with the provisions of the International Health Regulations of 2005.
- Not to be found, in your case, within the period of commitment of no return a Spain that the foreign person has assumed upon voluntarily returning to their country of origin.
- Pay the fee corresponding to the processing of the procedure.
Required documentation
- Application form in official model (EX -01), duly completed and signed by the foreign person.
- Full copy of passport or travel document, recognized as valid in Spain, with a minimum validity of one year.
- Criminal record certificate issued by the Authorities of the country of origin or of the country or countries in which you have resided during the last five years prior to entering Spain.
- Documentation proving that you have sufficient financial resources for the requested period.
It can be proven by any means of proof, including the provision of property titles, certified checks or credit cards accompanied by a bank certification that proves the amount available as credit on the card.
If the funds come from shares or holdings in Spanish, mixed or foreign companies based in Spain, it will be certified by the same that the applicant does not carry out any work activity in them, also accompanied by a sworn statement from the foreign person in this regard.
- Documentation proving that you have health insurance.
- Medical certificate.
- Mandate in favor of the manager.
